Food for Thought: Meat-Based Diet Made Us Smarter

New work is being done to illuminate yet another benefit to an omnivorous diet: once humans turned to eating meat, we were given a more efficient source of fuel, enabling more energy to be dedicated to brain function, thus catalyzing our evolution.   Wrangham, a vegetarian, even goes so far as to say that a raw-foods based diet is a step backward.
